There’s no great origin story around the Hot Supreme. It’s merely a Love Supreme with pickled jalapeños subbed in for the usual green peppers. We started making this as a staff pizza at the end of the last few pop-ups, after all the guests had gone home. Enough people commented “WANT” on the Instagram photos of it that we figured we’d offer it to the public.
It’s topped with sauce, Romano, cheese, sausage, red onion, and jalapeños. We offer a vegetarian version made with vegan sausage.
