Sharon is the chef-owner of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gialina.com\/\" title=\"Gialina.com\">Gialina<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ragazzasf.com\/\" title=\"ragazzasf.com\">Ragazza<\/a> in SF, and Alisha is Sharon&#8217;s wife and the one who set up the lunch meet-up while they were on a pizza recon mission in NYC. I can&#8217;t even tell you what&#8217;s on these pies, because the thing I remember most about that lunch is just how genuinely nice those two were. Meeting them was a highlight of my summer. I hope to see them in SF next time I visit my in-laws with my wife and daughter. <\/p>\n<p>And, oh! An interesting thing Sharon mentioned about her pizzerias in San Francisco. <a href=\"http:\/\/sfbay.microclimates.org\/\" title=\"http:\/\/sfbay.microclimates.org\/\">The city has several microclimates<\/a> and even submicroclimates. She said she uses the same dough recipe in both places but that the way she has to store it differs from one restaurant to the other because of the different climatic conditions at each location.
